Why dressing up in Pyjamas can be our favourite type of outfit...
Yes, you heard me... Lockdown has been a year of loungewear, PJ's and all things comfy but that doesn't mean we stopped dressing up.
While our old t-shirts and baggy jogging bottoms may be our initial bedtime attire, there are occasions when a change is order.
Enter the silky, patterned, bright or even feather PJ's.
On girly nights of pampering or fun Zoom parties with the girls, I have discovered a new love of the fancier style nightwear. While it will in no way replace my old boyfriend T-shirts, it does provide an ounce of luxury that we can can all agree has been lacking in lockdown - and even better, they're still comfy.
With more choice than ever, brands have invested in the their loungewear and nightwear ranges over the last year so there is a style for everyone. The tiger print ensemble i'm wearing below was on sale for £10 from Boohoo and it came with shorts, bottoms, a top and even an eye mask. The colourful short set was a bargin from Primark and the perfectly pink jersey set was found online at Miss Guided.
No matter your style, I thoroughly advise investing in a stylish pair for yourself as despite the fact that lockdown is coming to an end, we could all use a cute nighttime outfit to enjoy to really make our self love pamper sessions extra special.
